Veronique is a film director who focuses on human stories that connect us to people and the planet, told through a stylized documentary lens.
DOCUMENTARIES
She progressed her skills with a master's degree in Social Documentary Film at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her experience in cinematography and editing allows her to take a hands on approach to directing, and enables her to work in a wide range of environments.
Her award-winning documentaries challenge stereotypes by portraying the raw realities of young people living on society's margins - from gabbers and squatters to refugees and former inmates. She invests much time both on and off camera to uncover deeper layers, making these stories really personal and thoughtful.
Her films have premiered at prestigious international festivals such as Doc NYC and the Berlin Human Rights Festival and are available for streaming on Prime Video, Human and VICE.
